How much is shipping and or taxes?

I believe firmly in what you see is what you get, or what you see is what you pay. When you see the cost of a make, that includes taxes (if applicable), shipping, and any other miscellaneous fees you may encounter elsewhere!

Do you take custom orders?

I will do my best to accommodate custom order requests! Please use the contact us form for any inquires, or email theluckyloonco@gmail.com! I cannot promise all custom requests will be made a reality due to time constraints, material constraints or the like.

Do you accept returns?

If for any reason you do not love your purchase, I will gladly accept any unused and unworn returns at your return shipping cost! Please contact me first!

How did you come up with the name?

I based the name of my brand on some of my favorite memories; spending time at the cabin up north with my grandparents. My grandpa would always point out our state bird, the Loon, and the state flower, the Lady Slipper. For breakfast, we would always have the state muffin, the blueberry muffin (and pancakes the size of our heads)! The lucky came from me reflecting on my childhood and the experiences that I was able to have and the skills that I can now share with the world!

Did you Knit or sew first?

Knitting is my first love, at about 4th grade I was knitting like a little maniac! Quilting came next in high school from my parents’ love of quilts and my desire to learn how to make them. Apparel sewing came in college, when I just simply had an interest in how baby lap neck bodysuits were constructed, and to prove to myself that I could in fact make one on my own. From there it was a slippery slope of really indulging in the making community via social media.

What is your vision for the brand, or things you would like to see in the future?

My vision for this brand is to curate a lovely, quality, collection of hand makes of all kinds. I strive to include quality makes that you cannot find in the store. I strive to use the best, and natural materials that I can! In the future I would like to add much more hand knit garments like sweaters, shawls, leggings, tights etc. I would also like to add more heirloom vintage styles and more hand embroidery! Stay tuned! Blog posts to come!
